Guess what’s coming out TOMORROW!
For my last preview of Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi, I couldn’t resist going with Tiny Hot Dog. I love the simplicity of the project and how it’s such an icon. (And it’s one of my favorite photos in the book!)
But there was a little condiment controversy when I debuted the prototype here on the blog back in 2009…
So cute! But you know, in Chicago it is considered a sin to put ketchup on a hot dog…
Being from Chicago, I prefer mustard.
I adore mustard, and ketchup is so-so.
Aww! He should have more condiments, instead of just one.
Those were a few of the comments that I got on my post. So I made sure to put mustard on the one that went into the book!
So, soon you’ll be able to knit your own Tiny Hot Dog, and you can put whatever condiments you like on it. I promise you’ll get no judgement from me.
I can’t believe Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi is finally coming out tomorrow! You can pre-order it from Amazon and Barnes & Noble. And starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to find it in many local yarn stores, and signed copies will be available in the Mochimochi Shop.

This is completely awesome and would make hilarious earrings (one with mustard and one with ketchup or relish).
