I especially loved doing Pepto's footpads, so little Giraffy's hoofs are nostalgic for me. And I don't think the spots are a big deal. Some crocheted on circles would work just as well :). Or this could be the ancestor of all giraffes before they got spots. Oh, this reminds me of Rudyard Kipling's book of how all the animals were made. I forgot the name of it, but it was a collection of stories. One was how the elephant got a long nose (a crocodile snapped at it and stretched it out), and another how the leopard got it's spots. Very cute. Your emboirdered eyes and nostrils are impeccable. I have such respect for embroidered toys. I can never get the damn eyes to look like eyes or even symmetrical!
