This is an intermediate-level pattern that incorporates mattress stitch, picking up stitches, I-cord, and simple embroidery.
Knit it in classic white, black, and red, or make a sweet chocolate rabbit with pastel complements. You won't need more than half a skein of any one color, and you'll only need small amounts of the fingering-weight yarn and the contrasting colors.
