Knit a squishy little owl using beginner techniques!
The Starter Owl is specially designed for knitters who are advanced beginners: the pattern comes with instructions for both flat and circular knitting, and uses simple techniques of increases and decreases, plus a little embroidery. There are even markers for wing placement built into the pattern!
Depending on your experience, the project can be finished in a few hours or even minutes. Basic knitting knowledge is required: casting on, knitting and purling, increase and decrease stitches. Worsted-weight yarn is recommended, but you can use fingering-weight yarn and size 1 US (2.25mm) needles for a really tiny owl.
