Hell features three classic characters—Little Devils, Lost Souls, and Itty Bitty Bats—ready to greet you in the underworld, along with flames and a gate of hell to complete the terrifying scene. Perfect for quick handmade Halloween favors or spooky season decor. (Though we all know visions are doom are fitting year-round these days, so go ahead and make it a permanent installation on your desk or coffee table!)
The intermediate patterns knit up very quickly in fingering-weight yarn on size 1 US (2.25mm) double-pointed needles. Techniques include grafting, mattress stitch, and simple embroidery—all of which are demonstrated in accompanying tutorial videos.
NOTE: The finished pieces are very small and are not suitable for small children. (But you can scale them up with thicker yarn and bigger needles!)
