Like most everyone else I know, I’ve been trying to cut my clothes shopping budget lately. For me, this has mostly meant staying away from Bloomingdale’s and other favorite stores altogether, but the other day my sister and I gave Goodwill in Stillwater, OK, a try. I wasn’t expecting to find much there in a small university town, but I was pleasantly surprised with some great finds!

I was so excited that I took photos while my sister was in the fitting room…

Aren’t these shoes awesome? The pair in front fit me perfectly, and the pair behind fit my sis’s narrower feet.

Another neat print from a dress that seemed very Max Mara (especially in its fabric and cut) to me.

LOVE this necklace (from the Goodwill in Owasso).

I can’t wait to start sporting all this stuff and have handsome guys lower their glasses in my direction.

Everything should be one of these two colors.

Today is March 26th, but that’s apparently still “close enough” to Valentine’s Day for the Columbus Circle post office!

You may remember this display case from its autumnal theme that I photographed last October. The Valentine’s display is a bit more ambitious, with its paper cupid, fake roses, and tissue paper, and maybe the extra effort is why they decided to leave it up for an extra 40 days.

Or maybe the person who does the displays was laid off sometime around February 14th. That seems more likely, sadly.

A wonderful and completely unexpected Christmas present! I swooned over it in Crate & Barrel forever ago, and my husband remembered.

A few somebodies have already taken it upon themselves to move in.

It’s great to start a new year with a beautiful new workspace!
