It’s a Mochimochi Quiz Contest!

How about a fun contest?

My mother-in-law Bonney loves knitting so much that sometimes she buys multiples of the same knitting books without even noticing! I helped her sort through her books recently, and Bonney generously suggested that I give away some of her duplicates on my blog. How nice! She’s also throwing in a couple skeins of nice yarn from her stash.

While we’re at it, the winner will also get two free patterns from the Mochimochi Shop!

To enter, copy the below quiz into an email with the word “QUIZ” in the subject line, add your answers, and send it to info@mochimochiland.com by midnight (Eastern time) on Friday, May 8. (DO NOT LEAVE ANSWERS IN THE COMMENTS PLEASE!) John and I will randomly draw a winner from those who answered all ten questions correctly.

We’ll email the winner for their mailing address over next weekend, so be sure to check your email if you enter. Good luck!

I Heart LYSs

I’ve had quite a few new orders lately from yarn shops all the world over—including New Hampshire, NYC, France, and Australia—so I wanted to give a shout-out to the shops carrying Mochimochi Land patterns. Please check out the fine establishments in my stockists list and consider supporting a local small business by purchasing a printed version of a Mochimochi Land pattern along with your yarn.

If your LYS isn’t on the list, please introduce them to my designs!

Giant Snails Attack the City! Now Available Here

I’m now back in NYC after a productive trip to Oklahoma. I was having some amazing toy photography done there by my friend Brandi Simons, for a project that I’m eager to talk about at a future date.

The city always seems bigger after I’ve been gone for a few days. At least there aren’t any giant snails attacking it!

It was very easy to set up, and hopefully it will be just as easy for people to buy patterns there as it currently is on my website.

For now, my newest patterns, special offers, and free patterns will still only be available here at mochimochiland.com, so it’s a good idea to sign up to my mailing list for annoucements (just email info@mochimochiland.com) or to check the blog frequently.
