I just re-discovered this cute little Aranzi Aronzo tin that I got in Japan last year.
And I also discovered that it makes the perfect stitch marker holder!
No longer will my stitch markers be spilling all over the floor every time I get one out to use. At least that is my hope.
Has anyone played Blueberry Garden?
I have not heard super-great things about this indie game, unfortunately, but the art is pretty cute.

Maybe it’s the warm weather finally come to NY, but my focus is just all over the place! There are suddenly tons of different projects that I want to start all at the same time.
Only one more class to go in my Illustrator course, and I’m afraid I haven’t been practicing as much as I should be. But I’m still very excited about the application and all the crazy cool stuff you can do with it. Especially 3D effects!
This is a kind of preview of the next pattern I’ll be releasing in the Mochimochi Shop. Finally, a stacking pet for dog lovers! I think the illustration more or less looks like the knitted version, except less knitted and soft. (And grass is not included.)
For some reason, I’m suddenly feeling an urge to make stacking animals out of blocks of cheese. This sounds like a lot of fun to me at 1:20 in the morning. If only I knew an animal lover who was hosting a whimsical wine-tasting party.

Two months ago John set up a new 50-gallon fish tank in our living room and populated it with 25 cory catfish. They are too cute!
I just spent the past ten minutes trying to take their picture, but they’re a bit camera shy. The best I could do was a photo of a single cory at rest.
It doesn’t show up so well in the photo, but one of the cute things about corys is the way that their gills are pink, which makes them look like they’re always blushing.

John got these motorized Pac-Man toys at the recent New York Comic-Con. We only had enough batteries for one of them, though.
