Little Pink Heart

I’ve been really happy to see tons of people recently making hearts from the free pattern I posted a year ago (146 projects on Ravelry!). This simple pattern has taken on many cute, fun, and beautiful incarnations in different knitters’ hands, so I’m going to share some of my favorites in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day.

To kick things off, this one couldn’t be sweeter.

Shawna decided to knit up a bunch of hearts for her son’s kindergarten class for Valentine’s Day. The above photo comes from her recent blog post about it, with her daughter modeling the adorable sample she started with.

Too precious.

  1. Oh that little pink one is adorable. What a great gift for her son’s class! I have that pattern in my queue on Ravelry, as well. I’ll definitely be making a little basket of these for Valentine’s day this year. I’ll be sure to post up the pictures when they’re done, for you. It’s such a sweet little pattern! Thank you! :D

  3. The little hearts have been on my list for a while. I want to make them in wire, but I need to go back and refresh my wire knitting technique.
