My sweet husband did some serious spring cleaning while I was out of town last week. I returned to not only a clean apartment, but also a bookshelf organized by color!
I had seen this on design blogs before, but never in person, and certainly never done by John. Way better than alphabetical order.

It looks so pretty! But. . . how do you find the book you need?
I did the same to my bookshelf after I painted it white, it looks so much better, if only I didn’t have so much junk… Color organizing makes it look… cleaner… I think :-p
But yours look far better with all those pretty toys! :D
I don’t think I could do the books by color thing. I have way too many books scattered over the house! It definitely looks interesting though.
