This may be my favorite Hugs photo yet!

This sweet guy was made by Emily, aka Taffyyarn on Ravelry. Blythe doesn’t seem so impressed by the attention, but those color schemes were just meant to be together.
This cute photo reminds me to remind YOU to keep adding your photos of Mochimochi toys to the Mochimochi Friends group on Flickr—anything added to the group pool is automatically in the running for the 2010 Mochimochi Photo Contest (official deadline TBA).
If you haven’t entered the photo contest before, check out the guidelines for the 2009 contest.
OK, I just can’t resist sharing Hannah’s technicolor Hugs + Squoze that she just posted on Bittersweet!

Her accompanying post about the dangers of love is equally adorable, so I recommend you head over to her blog to read it. Then check out her recipe for adorable heart-shaped pomegranate pops.
Happy Valentine’s, everyone!
It was less than a week ago that I released the pattern for Hugs + Squoze, but already we have some cuddling cuties popping up on Ravelry!
Would you believe this Hugs + Squoze was butterfly’s first-ever knitted toy? I’m so impressed!

I also love this photo of them because Hugs looks just blissful and Squoze looks like he can’t wait to get outta there.
This bright red Hugs from WormHerder really pops!

And without his Squoze, he just looks a little grumpy—in a cute way, of course!
And once again, here is a terrific toy made by tester Oiyi. I think her Squoze is saying “ta-daa!”

Along with Oiyi, I have Marti, David, and Hannah to thank for their testing help for this pattern!
I have a few favorite creative use of my Hearts pattern! Jennyontheblok connected the tips of four knitted hearts, added a leaf and a sweet little button, and voila: a valentine flower!

These would take a bit longer than just making hearts for those you love this Valentine’s, but still a quick project. So you could make hearts for your wider circle and heart flowers for your extra-special ones. Sweet!
Jenny, aka Kounting Sheep, kindly tested my Cute is Always in Season cross-stitch for me last month, and she just posted pics of her finished project on her blog. I love that she used such fun colors in hers!

Since I am new at designing cross-stitch patterns, Jenny was super-helpful in advising me about how best to design the chart so that it’s easy for people to use. Thank you for the test, Jenny!
Marti, a tester for the Tiny Things Collection 1 patterns, went on a Tiny Elephant-making spree!

Maybe you noticed that one of these elephants is not like the others. It’s a small sheep made from this fun pattern by Flutterby Patch. (I also love the sleeping cat looming in the background.)
Thank you for the test, Marti!
Groundhog Day is right around the corner, people! I love these pics taken by Eskimimi of her Punk Phil made from my Godfrey pattern. Soon it will be officially time to start daydreaming about spring.

Eskimimi didn’t have any black yarn on hand, so she made her groundhog’s hat out of felt instead. Looks like that worked great!

After finding Eskimimi’s groundhog on Ravlery, I discovered that she is a talented designer herself. Check out her (really beautiful) blog!
How awesomely cute are these Tiny Corn and Tiny Toothpaste made by Oiyi?!

Oiyi tested the patterns for me, and she used worsted-weight yarn instead of the fingering-weight that I recommend in the pattern. So they turned out just slightly heftier—so fun! Check out her blog to see her Tiny Elephant and Tiny Violin.
Thank you to all the testers of these patterns: Oiyi, Marti, Rikke, and Dorien!
