The tiny cavemen of Mochimochi Land have been making all kinds of discoveries about their world, and undercover anthropologists have captured it all on video!
This is my first multi-part stop-motion animation. It felt like it took forever to put together, but it was a fun project.
The pattern for a tiny caveman is available in Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi.
That is great! :D
How did you make the tiny baby caveman? He’s so cute I got the book but he’s not in there:( share your secret how did you make him!!
So cute!!!
That is adorable! The music is also perfect for it!
Re-reading the intro, I think it might be better to say undercover anthropologists, not sociologists. I think the cavemen would fall under the category of a different culture being observed/studied, not a society. But I’m just picky because they’re both part of my major. :)
Oh, you’re totally right, Mariette—that’s what I meant. Changing it now!
Glad I could help. ^^
Love it!
Oh my gosh, this is awesome! I love the baby cavemen riding the baby dinosaurs…so cute :)
THIS IS WAY CUTE. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I LOVE THE CUTENESS AND HUMOR PUT INTO THIS! I especially love how the caveman carved the wheel, leaving bits of yarn around it, it’s genius!
One word:
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(Okay, maybe one letter, the sound of which is elongated),
Anna, you’ve done it again. This is wild! I love how the actions of the cave people are punctuated perfectly by the rhythms. Thev fire looks so real, and the creation and first use of the wheel is inspired. Such cute little primitives–absolutely darling!
Hehehe that was awesome :-) it must have taken forever!
OMG! That’s realy cool!
You’re very good at making these little shortfilms (& gifs). This is like a TV-show! It’s like there “eyecater” in the japanese anime or like the german “Sendung mit der Maus” or the “Mainzelmännchen”,…. It’s very very great!
hehehe what a great video!!! Love these so cute characters!
this is your best animation yet! But how did you make the dino so big and what did you use for the eyes?
I am 12 and I relay want to make some mochimochi stuff but I don’t know if it is hard or not.(I have knitted at least 4 times).
P.S I also featured some of your stuff on my site http://cateholst.typepad.com/misscraftyfox/. I also love the animation!
Hi Joie! I’m 11 and I knit too! I think you should try some mochimochis they are very easy.
That video was so awesome! It might have taken forever, but it was so adorable and funny! I loved it!!!
At Joie: I’m a kid knitter too! Mochis are very adorable, and in my opinion, they aren’t that hard to make. I highly recommend knitting Tinys.
Thank you I will try
Im 13 and a knitter too! I didnt realise there are so many kid knitters!!! :)
Love love LOVE it! I especially enjoy in Play, when you moved the scenery instead of the rampaging horde!
