Flower and Buddy

I love it when a knitter starts with one of my patterns and takes it in a completely original direction, and I have a perfect example today! Soyaspade took the Pocket Protectors from Knitting Mochimochi

…and turned her version into Flower and Buddy, creatures who look like they sprang up from a magical garden!

The leaf pattern that she used is from Natural Suburbia, and this beautiful flower is from Lesley Stanfield’s book 100 Flowers to Knit & Crochet.

So much creativity! This really inspires me.

  1. Beautiful flower! That book is becoming the talk of the town in the blogosphere lately, I must check it out. I also used the naturalsuburbia.blogspot.com leaf pattern and got on really well with it. A great little pattern!
