School’s back in, the air is getting crisp, and new seasonally-appropriate tiny patterns are coming this week!

We’re also long overdue for a caption contest, so let’s fix that right now: Caption this tiny owl with your cutest owl pun, and the winner (to be announced Thursday) will receive the new pattern collection. We’ll have a new caption contest going every day this week, so be sure to check back for more chances to win! (Please keep your captions to one per person per post.)

  1. Omg…this tiny owl is a great big hoot!
Though he may be small, and cute to boot,
He has lots of love, so the point is moot.

  2. Might someone please knit me another stitch so I don’t have to balance on one leg? That’s owl I need.

  3. Owl Poem
    An owl in a blizzard
Got some snow in his gizzard
    He landed in a tree
    And sat upon a flea
And spoke about it with his friend the lizard

So if you want an owl for a friend
    Just go around the bend
    To your LYS
Knit his wings and all the rest
And you will have an owl till the end

  4. Tiny owl doesn’t give a hoot about practicing for his flying test; he knows he’ll be able to wing it!

  5. “He was an itsy bitsy teeny weenie grey and polka dot owlee-ee!” (Sang to yellow polka dot bikini)

  6. When asked for who he was knitted and for what occasion, Tiny Owl gets his feathers all ruffled and replies, “It’s ‘for WHOOOOM’, my good sir!”

His life motto: Owl you need is good grammar. ;)

  7. Mr. Owl,

How many sticks does it take to get to the center of MochiMochi Land?

(for those who remember the old tootsie roll commercials)

  8. Mr. Owl,

How many sticks does it take to get to the center of MochiMochi Land? Don’t worry. Owl wait.

(for those who remember the old tootsie roll commercials)

(forgot to add the last line in there first time around. sorry)
