I’m very excited to announce that I have a new pattern in the current issue of Craft magazine!
For their Play issue (which hit newsstands about a week ago), it’s a reversible chicken and egg!
The pattern is super-easy, and the issue is packed with lots of other fun play-related projects.
Thank you to Arwen at Craft—she was awesome to work with on this!
Congratulations! It’s a fantastic pattern and oh so adorable. I know a few neices and nephews (as well as me!) who are going to get one for Easter. So adorable!!
WOW!!!
This is just so cool… I may have to break my own spending rules and buy this magazine!
That is adorable! Congrats :)
Amazing! I LOVE it–may have to buy this issue of Craft just for that pattern.
Holy muffins, that is awesome. A reversible chicken and egg! Great play on an old question.
That is super-duper-mega-Awesome!
Anna, I still love it. It makes me want to knit. Amazing, since I haven’t in over a year. Now I’ll have to buy the craft magazine and experiment. :)
Yay! He’s so cute squeezing out of the shell!
I Must Have This!!! Now to find out who sells copies in my area…
That is so cute I can hardly stand it! I must find this magazine!
Congrats! That is soooo cool! And educational!
Wow! That’s mad rockin’! Congratulations!
Yay for Anna being published in Craft! Great job, I’m so happy for you! I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. Your chicken and egg remind me of a carrot/rabbit reversible toy I had when I was little but somehow lost. So cute!
Well done, Anna! I’ve been trying to find the magazine since I saw this pattern on Ravelry. No luck! What will I do without a chicken and egg!? Frustrating.
For people with no local source for Craft – you can buy single copies from the magazine’s website (craftzine.com). I decided to subscribe this year and I was so happy to get my first issue with a wonderful pattern in it.
I was also able to order a back issue that I had missed getting on the newsstand. It didn’t take long at all for shipping.
Just a thought, for those who can’t find it on a newsstand and who want a copy…
Great – thanks for the tip, Fillyjonk!
Ditto everybody. I’d get that issue of Craft (LOVE the mag), but I’d rather get all the patterns available here, first. Soon. . . (as I do my taxes).
oh no….i am not sure if they do sell this mag in Singapore! hmph…but that’s too cute to miss!!!hmph…
awww! that looks so cute:o) what a fun idea.
hehe…i am so blur. Didn’t see the post by Fillyjonk. And i just saw the online subscription on Craft. Maybe i should do that that too…
Oh my goodness! I love it… Congrats! Your softies are just amazing.
It’s like a profound metaphor about life, birth, renewal, Spring…. all wrapped up in a knitted chicken and egg. How cute!
Does anyone know if this mag is available in the UK? I SO wasnt to knit some of these!
I went out yesterday and got my copy, lucky me there where only two left. Cast on last night.
This one is for ME, and is coming to work with me.
oooh congrats! i can’t wait to pick up a copy.
Oh. Mi. GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How cute is that? I’m totally trying that out when i learn DPNs and increasing. Plus decreasing. Please put this pattern online,Anna!
oh this is totally cool!!! And yes i agree with Domino, Please put it online!! I don’t think the magazine is available where I am!
So cute, I bought the mag. just for THIS pattern I have the chicken body almost done. I couldn’t pass up your pattern even for the outrageous cost of the magazine!
A big congratulations!!! But then, I’m really not surprised. I’ll get that issue just to get your pattern ;-)
Found a copy at Barnes & Noble, yay! Hope to cast on tonight!!!
I just picked up this issue this past weekend. I don’t think I even took the time to see that the pattern was yours though I thought it was your style. Congrats!
Now to find some yarns (random colors from the stash attack!).
Won’t you put this pattern online in your shop?
It’s so cute!!!
p.s. I put the Tubby and Raincloud pics on my blog with a link to this site. I hope it’s ok for you.
L-o-o-o-ve these cute little things! Would it be possible for us who can’t get the magazine to get this pattern too? We don’t have Craft in the stores in Finland…
That is so adorable! I love the little chicken legs!
