In the Tent with Anna Sui

I stumbled into a chance to go to the Anna Sui Fall 2010 show at Bryant Park yesterday! It was fun to be in one of the tents with all the fashion industry insiders. (Myself, I was wearing jeans and a sweater with cat hair on it.)

I only had my phone camera with me, so I took home some blurry shots of glowing models. This is the best one, from the end of the show.

The show itself was really fun – I’ve never worn Anna Sui before, but almost everything on the runway had me thinking “I would totally wear that.” There was a lot of knitwear mixed in the collection, and I found a photo of my favorite piece on Style.com (where you can see photos of the full show).

  1. I never got the whole “fashion” thing…..
I mean if you really think about it….fashions change every 2 seconds, I could care less about what’s in or what’s “hot”.
I’ll just stick to my long shirts, (my shirt’s are about 2 in. shorter then were that girls skirt ends) flair jeans, long dangly earrings and black flats (that pretty much describes my wardrobe)

    I’m a tall person…so heals are out.

I don’t get why anyone would wear that stuff…pink and orange together? I could be an awesome fashion designer…..

  2. I LOVE Anna Sui! I live in t-shirts and jeans, but I think fashion is extremely fun! I mean, art and self-expression that you can wear around? And change all the time? Awesome! :)

  3. Those red tights are awesome! Yes, I could totally see you in this whole thing. Except maybe the boots. But I like the boots, too. Glad you got to go!

  4. wow! i love anna sui… got one of her dresses from the target line and don’t even care that it’s meant for teenagers! ;) sounds like a great experience, Anna!

  5. Hehehehe…what you wore is actually what most people wear in real life. I think most of my clothes has dog hair on it, no matter how carefully I thought I checked. :-)

  6. Am I the only one who doesn’t like anna sui?
Oh well, I guess every one has different taste!
