Mochimochi Land Needs a New Tagline!

Now that I’ve started adding cross-stitch patterns to my shop and I might someday do other kinds of projects, I’m thinking it’s time for a new Mochimochi Land tagline! Right now, it’s “Knitted toys and people living together in a spirit of tolerance.” I like the subtle humor of this, but I think a tagline that isn’t so knitting or toy-specific might be a good idea.

You guys are creative, so I would love to hear YOUR ideas for a new Mochimochi Land tagline. Please leave them in the comments to this post! It should probably be catchy and cute, but not too cute. (You know what I mean.)

I won’t necessarily use one of the suggestions, but I might! If I choose your suggestion, there’s no prize, but you do get some glory for totally knowing what Mochimochi Land is all about.

  21. I too liked the “Tiny Bit East of Ordinary”. I was going to attempt a slogan myself but I feel trumped by that one.

    I’m sure Anna will come up with the perfect caption.

  22. Stitching sanity, a tiny bit at a time!

    Will confess to knitting Mochis between classes, to reactivate the over-stressed brain. Now, when you come up with a tiny llama, dog and sheep, I’ll be the first to order, as I rescue all 3….and occasionally spin their wool for the yarn to play with!

    “cute and art living together in a spirit of tolerance”

    …it maintains the quirk of your original tagline without pinpointing any specific craft plus gives props to the art of your endeavor.

    oo! bonus: you could make mascots and name them cute and art. ;)

  31. I am loving a lot of these, and I have to say that Joan’s suggestions in particular are speaking to me right now. Very clever! But I’m sure I’ll be returning to this entire list as I consider the new tagline. (And keep them coming if you have more suggestions!)

  40. Well, this isn’t so much a competition as it is just asking for some good ideas from you guys—and there are a lot of great taglines here that are helping me brainstorm!
