These bunnies are not doing anything naughty at all.
I was just in a bookstore with my sister-in-law this afternoon, and she came running to me with this book. We agreed that it had to be part of Bunny Week.
Let’s Make Rabbits is by Caldecott winner Leo Lionni, and it’s about drawing pictures of rabbits and making them out of paper, and not about anything biological. (But you could have fooled us, with that cover!)
On the theme of bunnies – probably everyone has seen this, but just in case, and because I love it so, here are some Muppets. With bunnies. The beginning belies the humor of the whole thing — I believe the bunnies are happily living and singing in that crazy monster’s belly, still!

Love it, Jen! Thanks for sharing.
bunny week is the best week ever! :D
Agh! I can’t help myself. I’d like to give one more link if that’s okay – my friend Asa forwarded this to me, and I’d forgotten all about our reading the Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes! It’s such an awesome book – and it’s about bunnies. So, since Anna has reminded us all about bunnies and bunny love this week… here goes:

It’s such a good book (and if you read it carefully, pretty empowering for woman-kind!) Okay, that’s it. I’m moving on to puppies!
LOL! We have this book at my in-laws house!
Too funny!
HAHA! I saw this book in the daycare classroom I work in today!! The cover made me giggle :)
Check out “Runny Babbit a Billy Sook” By Shel Silverstein (the guy who wrote The giving tree ( one of the BEST BOOKs Ever)
It’s a really cute adventure story about a Bunny named Runny… a friend gave it to me as a feel better present when my house bunny Precious passed away.
