Unicorns, Rats, and Hunka Hunka Burnin’ God

I took a break from knitting and assembling the other day to take photos of some of the elements in my upcoming show. Here’s a peek at what’s to come!

The opening is now just two weeks away, which means that my perspective on it is constantly shifting from excited to panicked. I guess that probably means I’m right on track! (Or maybe it doesn’t, and I should just be panicking…)

  1. I am loving those unicorns and the rainbow, Anna — so itty bitty glorious! Oh, I do hope you have a wonderful show; sadly distance means I can’t be there but I will be wishing you all the best for the opening in October! :-)

  2. I hope you can post pictures or videos (even better!) of the full display when it’s shown. The individual parts look so wonderful; I’m sure the whole is even greater.

  3. I love being able to see the progression of the installation! I have the opening marked in my calendar. Can’t wait to see it in person!

  4. This looks like it’s going to be so amazing. I would be excited and nervous, too! I wish I could come see it in person. I hope you’ll post plenty of pictures! Or maybe a video of the train going through the world? :)

  5. haha I love the unicorns and that giant rainbow.
Too bad I wont be able to see the show. Best of luck anyway!

  6. Thank you for the nice comments, everyone! That helps to give me that last big push to get everything finished in time!

I will definitely see to it that this show is well-documented in photos. (I love the idea of a video too, so I’ll try to make that happen.)

Heather – a big fancy hairdo just seemed appropriate for a deity, don’t you think?

  7. Anna, you are my knitting hero. I hope to someday make things containing just one tenth of your genius.
