Stitch Up Some Forest Friends

Here’s an idea: let’s kick off November with a new cross-stitch pattern in the Mochimochi Shop!

The Forest Friends collection comes with charts for three little designs that will each fit into a 3″ embroidery hoop for framing. They’re very quick to stitch up, and also easy to frame! (A tutorial on how to frame them is included with the patterns.)

Forest Friends is available as a PDF download for $5 right here!

  1. Hi Anna,
Love your new Forest Friends Cross stitch patterns.
I have a knitting pattern suggestion. These days they are selling “Living Lettuce” in the grocery stores. Every time I see it, I picture your various creatures with eyes and I think – There should be a knitted living lettuce by Anna!

  2. This pattern couldn’t have been released at a better time! I just had a baby boy on Friday and his woodland themed nursery still needs a few final touches. I’m especially happy to see squirrels as they hold a special place for us and we called him Our Little Acorn while he was in the womb. And they’re easy enough that, if I’m really lucky, he might give me time to stitch at least one of them up over the next few weeks. :)

  3. I have to say that I would suggest using french knots for the eyes (even though it is irritating to do sometimes), because a couple of these looked like they might be cute and dead instead of just cute!

(I have a backlog of cross-stitch projects to go with all of my other projects…)

  4. I love them! Despite my huge love for squirrels, I think the owls are my fave! Love the little dude hanging upside down! Very cute! :)
