Kathreen of Whipup recently asked me to put together a guest post for her blog, for a series on designing knitting patterns. It’s always an honor to get a mention on Whipup, and guest posting is even better!
I had a new design in mind, so I thought it would be fun to take Whipup readers along as I worked on it, from sketch to finish.
See more of this new Mochimochi design come together in the Whipup post! There are also other great entries to read in the guest designer series. (By the way, I promised a November release date for this guy, and that’s looking a little iffy now… I’ll do my best!)
I want to name him Ellwood.
(PS – I think he is adorable. And what a great post. Thank you for sharing your design process!) :)
A new tiny Mochimochi could be a gymnast!
He is so cute Anna!! My bf LOVES monkeys and he will definitely want me to make him this little guy. Can’t wait for the pattern to be released!
I have that same notebook! And thank you for the post!
That is so adorable!
Awwwww… It’s got a big tail! <3
If it isn’t ready in November that is super OK. People will instead get monkeys for Christmas/Hannukah/etc.
He is so cute! I can hardly wait for his release! I LOVE monkeys!
