The only thing better than a friendly local yarn store is a local yarn store run by friendly chickens!
This is Sarah’s adorable entry in our recent Fine Feathered Photo Contest. It was heartbreaking not to include it in the top three, but all that cuteness and attention to detail gets a big honorable mention from us! (And the gnome button portrait is just genius.)
Don’t forget to keep adding your photos of Mochimochi knits to our Flickr group—they’ll appear in the gallery page of this website, and they’ll automatically be eligible for our big photo contest in the fall.

This is just way too cute! Well done! :)
Super cute! I love it so much!
If I were talented, THIS is precisely what I would be doing in my spare time. I DO make dioramas with fuzzy chicks and attach cut out faces from photographs of my family members to them, leaving a wee hole for the weee -er chickbeaks. Oh me–Oh my. I would PAY someone to make one of these for me! Love LOVE LOVE IT!!
I loved this picture!
Thank you so much for posting this! Actually, I made this, but the name is ‘Phil’ because the Flickr account is in my Dad’s name. (Sorry for the confusion.) I feel so honored, especially after you posted my disney knits back in April. And thanks everyone for your positive comments!
Oh, good to know who is responsible for the cuteness!
