Yes, Gargle has made himself at home in the Mochimochi Shop!
Gargle is a rare spotless breed of giraffe, but awesome pattern tester Miki found a spotted cousin of his far off in Africa:
You can see Miki’s entire adorable playground photo shoot with her Gargle on her blog. Thanks, Miki!

Oh thank you thank you. I’ve been eagerly awaiting this pattern, as a friend of mine is obsessed with giraffes and his birthday is coming up. I can’t wait to knit this up!
Aw, Gargle is cute isn’t he?
I totally took the map photo by mistake. I happened to be wandering by my old elementary school and thought “oh, a map…ok!” and only realized the connection later…silly me!
A lot of people have favorited your patterns on Ravelry and I check all the time to see who has made any.
Amy, I hope you like the pattern and I hope your friend likes Gargle!
Miki – thank you so much for promoting Mochimochi Land! I always love your posts on the toys you make. They’re so imaginative!
I finished up my Gargle, and I love it! The pattern is wonderfully easy to follow, especially for me since I was a novice to a lot of the shaping techniques. Thank you, Anna!
Amy, so glad you liked the pattern! I’m happy to hear that someone who’s not so experiened with shaping could follow my pattern.
