Tiny Airplane

tinyairplane

Trust him, he doesn’t like sitting on that tarmac for hours any more than you do.

I’m sure many of us are spending lots of time in planes, cars, and other modes of transportation this holiday weekend. Safe travels, everyone!

Tropicalgirlknits suggested twice that I make a tiny airplane, so I guess she really wanted to see one! Let me know what pattern you would like as a thank-you, Tropicalgirlknits.

While you’re here, don’t forget to vote in the final round of the photo contest if you haven’t yet. It’s turning out to be a close race!

  1. Oh my gosh! That is so cute! Thank you!

Sorry for suggesting him twice… lost track. :P

  2. So cute!
Form your tiny serie, I like the tiny food th most ^__^ So why not a tiny slice of bacon for the egg, or a cup of coffee for the pancakes :D

  3. Ohhh I like your ideas Nina and Wendy.

How about a tiny santa, santa hat or snowflake? The snowflake tagline could be “This little guy knows all too well that no two snowflakes are alike” or even “His biggest dream is falling down to the North Pole this winter”.

  4. Ahem, TINY WALLET PLEASE!!!!!
It would be soooooooooooo cute!!!!!!! And I even thought of things to say with him………

That reminds me…..Do you still have TV Guy??????? He was the first of the tiny things…..Waaaaaaaaaay back in 07!! Then the world of tiny things stopped spinning……..UNTIL getting the boost it needed to continue!!!!!

A TINY WALLET (with some $ perhaps??)

And you could use one of these to describe his sadness!

“He sad because everyone keeps trying to steal him!”

“He’s sad because everyone says he’s half empty, but he prefers the term “half full”!”

“He’s having a tiny crises because someone just told him he’s not genuine leather!”

“He’s sad because no one made him a tiny gas mask, that back pocket he’s been in for the past 2 weeks reaks! (He’s says his owner eats a can of beans every morning!)”

He’s sad because he doesn’t like the color green, “why can’t money be orange??” now you know why all your money is missing.”

  5. ehmygosh! knittedteacups, that is adorable! the sayings are adorable. especially the “genuine leather” one.

  6. You’re in luck, knittedteacups—TV Guy will make a reappearance in a different form in my book that’s coming out next June!

  7. You should make a tiny shark, a tiny squid, or a tiny man ray, or some other tiny sea creature. That would be super cute.

By the way I am so excited for your book!

  8. I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. I love it!!! I’m so happy to hear about your book! I can’t wait to read it!!!

Tiny things suggestion: tiny dinosaur!!!!! omg it would be so cute!!!

  10. Very sweet! I hope this pattern will make it into the pattern sets!

I also love the idea of a tiny (high speed) train. He is always in a rush, and he never knows if he is coming or going!

  11. Ok. I can’t resist giving my suggestion for a tiny thing. How about a tiny wrist watch with a needlepoint dial?
Your tiny airplane would make a great tie tack for your Dad.

  12. I’m really enjoying your tiny things series. Thanks for sharing!

You’ve got the plane, so how about tiny trains & automobiles? I think a tiny red double-decker would be particularly cute :)

  13. Love it! A tiny baseball and bat would be cute. I was going to try to make one for a close friend but it didn’t work out :/
