Remember these guys? I’ve been making just a few more in the past couple of months…
Thanks to Koigu (who is supplying me with yarn) and Lion Brand (who is giving me a space), these will turn into a crazy art piece later this year. Look for it in the Lion Brand Yarn Studio in August through October!
I’ll be posting some periodic updates about my progress here until then. I don’t know what form it will take in the end, so it should be a fun process!
WOW, what a crowd of Mochi! It reminds me of those toy machines with the claw, for some reason.
Awesome! Can’t wait.
Cute!
These are wonderful Anna! I’ve taken note on making plushies into rings, I’ve been little heart rings (I’ve been using the feet from the Coo and Coy pattern) for Valentine’s Day gifts for my friends! You’re so creative and it rubs off on all of us!
awesome – on average – how big are they? Reminds me of one of those ball pits!
LOVE THEM!!
Robin – they’re each about 1 to 1 and a half inches big. I just can’t get enough big bunches of very small things.
That is awesome. I love how crowded together they look, like a multicolored rave mosh pit.
Sew ’em together and you’ve got a very nubby baby blanket.
Anna, I think I may just die of cuteness overload! I LOVE these!!!!
Could you post the pattern for those cute little Mochis so that we can all knit them?
I’m glad you like them, Lachlan! Since these are for an art piece, I’m planning to keep these designs separate from my patterns.
I do like to idea of a collaborative art project for the future though, so I might just try enlisting everyone to help out with knitting someday!
What an awesome thing to wake up to every morning! Looking at those I can’t help but start giggling.
So cute! When you look at something like this it kind of thumbs your nose at the people who think knitting is boring. I love seeing your tiny creations.
Adorable!!!
Oh my gosh! I want to fill a bath tub with mochis and have a soak! SOOO cute.
I can’t wait to see what the final art project will be!
they look soooo funny!! n_n
As a suggestion……. What if you made them into a carnival scene?
