Tiny Firecracker

Don’t try this at home, friends!

I’m happy to say that the pattern little guy will be in Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi, which will include a section of holiday-themed Tiny patterns. Now that it’s July, I can also say that the book is coming out next month!

No caption contest this weekend, but please share your Tiny Firecracker captions in the comments if you want! And to all of you who are celebrating this weekend, Happy 4th of July!

  1. Oh my gosh, I’m glad there isn’t a caption contest, because I can never think of anything, but I just wanted to compliment you on your recent use of wool fire. Here and on the dragon, it has been looking really awesome!

  2. This is one firecracker that is welcome in the state of Florida! Cant wait for the book and happy 4th

  3. Aw! That’s awesome! Can’t wait for your book to come out! Also, even though there’s no contest, I came up with something:

How does Tiny Firecracker make such loud sounds? He eats his rice crispies! SNAP! CRACKLE! POP!

(Yeah, it’s not the best, but I thought I’d share it anyway.)

  4. Tiny Firecracker is such a laid-back guy, he never understands why everyone asks about his short fuse.

  5. @KateMet – lol! Nice!

Not until Tiny Firecracker arrives does the party truly go off with a bang.

  6. Tiny Firecracker was still undecided as to whether he wanted to fulfil his destiny or not…

  7. Tiny Firecracker eagerly waits
for his chance to light up the sky.
The bigger ones know that his snap and his glow
will be enjoyed by many this night.

    But they beg us mind
    in this joyous of times
that many have fought for the right.

So while the show must go on
    please stand for the song
and give our Flag your spotlight.

  8. Tiny Firecracker says: “lets start this party off with a bang!” he quickly realised what he said then closed his eyes
